Bare with me for the next few weeks as this is my first stumble into the world of blogging. It has been something I have wanted to do for a while but only now, at the beginning of my three month summer have I taken the plunge. While it may not be popular this is an outlet in which I can express my thoughts on my passions which include Literature, History and Movies.
I have been an avid reader since I can remember, whether it was Harry Potter or Roald Dahl, I was always reading a book. As I have grown older, my reading faltered when I went through a rebellious stage in my early teenage years. Since that 'phase' I have fallen much more in love with literature, hence my reason for creating this blog. Many of the booktubers and blogs seem to focus on Young Adult fiction. This is not a genre in which I hold a strong distaste for, that is not the case. I have read certain YA such as John Green novels, I adore Looking for Alaska and The Hunger Games was a series which I devoured last year. However, my passion lies with the more Classic side of Literature. I much prefer to indulge in the worlds created by Austen, Wharton and Fitzgerald to name a few.
